Vendor Management Specialist (Work at Home)

The objective of the Vendor Management Specialist is to independently manage the vendor relationship and Third Party vendor oversight through the on-boarding / off-boarding process, business line specific issue resolution and periodic reviews. This individual will help ensure that contract and Statements of Work service levels for assigned third parties are adhered to both from an operational and regulatory standpoint.
This role will operate within Loan and Specialty Operations Vendor / Agency Management and the primary responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
Hold vendor / agencies accountable for achieving monthly financial targets and/or operational metrics
Capture and Review Third Party scorecards prepared by Data Management and Reporting used for Service Level Agreement dashboards
Manage the coordination of periodic vendor business reviews as defined in policies and procedures
Initiative Execution / Project Management- act as liaison between business line and vendor to ensure effective execution of initiatives.
Acting as point of escalation for issues identified by the Operations Vendor Management Office or other assessment groups
Advising and assisting in resolving ORC issues as needed
Facilitating discussions in the resolution of performance, risk and compliance issues identified during monthly Service Level Agreement reviews and site visits
Work with the Operations Vendor Management Office in the execution of contract renewals and new Statements of Work in accordance with policy guidelines; and coordinating with key stakeholders and Business Line Manager
Act as point of contact to external vendors on all aspects of debt collections
1 or more years of relevant Third Party Management exposure and/or experience1 year Experience in analyzing and communicating performance metrics and results to a Third Party vendorWillingness to travel as required (alone)Working knowledge of Consumer and Commercial RegulationsAbility to assess, identify and mitigate risk issues early in the process, including the proper allocation and management of such risks.Strong organizational, communication and planning skillsStrong interpersonal skills to interact with project teams and multiple departments and vendors to achieve project objectives.Proficiency with MS Office skills including MS Word, MS Power Point, and MS Excel.Ability to perform in a high paced environment and meet monthly operational goals and Service Level Agreements.Ability to plan and prioritize workloadMake independent decisions and exercise sound judgment.Ability to communicate and drive results3 years of experience Banking/Collection/Vendor Management preferred
Bachelors degree preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5
